Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath welcomed the Delhi High Court's decision imposing a ₹30 lakh penalty on Google over trade infringement in keyword searches, saying, "I welcome this ruling and hope this changes the unfair norms." Google was accused of displaying competitors' ads in search results, diverting traffic from original companies. "This judgment now opens up a route," Kamath added.
