HDFC Bank has allowed a two-day work-from-home (WFH) to employees in its non-customer-facing business and corporate enabling functions (IT, HR, legal, etc.), multiple reports said. The move comes after PM Narendra Modi urged companies to adopt fuel-saving measures. Only a few private banks, including Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank, have previously adopted similar hybrid work models for select employees.
