The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will increase the auto settlement of advanced claim (ASAC) limit from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh, ANI reported. The proposal reportedly received Ministry of Labour Secreatry Sumita Dawra's approval and needs a further nod from the Central Board of Trustees. EPFO allows ASAC for illness, education, marriage and housing.
