Gold and silver prices crashed in the Indian futures market on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump said that the Iran ceasefire is over and called its leadership "scum". As per MCX data, gold futures with August expiry crashed 1.65% to ₹143000 per 10 gm, while silver futures with September expiry fell 3.17% to ₹2,23,548 per kg.
