Foreign investors log longest buying streak in Indian markets in 2 years

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) pumped $4.11 billion (over ₹35,040 crore) into Indian equities over the last nine sessions, logging their longest buying spree since July 2023. It lifted the benchmark Nifty 50 by 6.6% for the period. FPIs are returning as US and China are more vulnerable to a global trade war than India, G Chokkalingam of Equinomics Research said.
