Open-source database startup Supabase, a widely used alternative to Firebase, raised $500 million (over ₹4,700 crore) to double its valuation to $10 billion (over ₹95,000 crore) in eight months. The platform makes back-end tools to help developers build AI apps and is built on the PostgreSQL open-source database. The firm was valued at $5 billion in October 2025.
