The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is targeting settlement of most new PF withdrawal claims on the same day or within a maximum of two days, CEO Ramesh Krishnamurthy said. He added that the EPFO has almost cleared its claim settlement backlog. "In the new system, we are seeing auto-settled claims as high as 90%," he said.
