After firing 8,000 employees to focus on AI, Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth admitted employee morale is suffering amid layoffs, AI-driven restructuring and workplace changes. Calling the rollout of Meta’s new AI division “atrocious”, Bosworth said the company had undermined workers' trust. He added that employees' morale is among the lowest he has seen during his two decades at the company.
