DGCA starts safety audit of charter operators after Baramati crash

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is conducting a special safety audit of charter and non-scheduled flight operators to assess operational aspects. This comes after aircraft crash in Baramati on January 28 claimed the lives of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others. The audit will be conducted in two phases, with the first phase covering 14 operators.
