BBC is threatening legal action against Perplexity AI, accusing the startup of training its "default AI model" using its content, Financial Times reported. In a letter to Perplexity head Aravind Srinivas, BBC said the firm must stop scraping its content, delete existing copies, and submit "a proposal for financial compensation".
