Chandigarh administration has received only 10 applications in 11 months since the launch of its startup policy, HT reported, quoting an official. Despite the policy's financial perks and mentorship support, stakeholders claimed the slow response was due to "tedious" procedural factors. The policy aims to establish 200 new startups and provide an annual corpus of ₹30 lakh for startup festivals.
