To boost river cruise tourism in India, Central government plans to establish 100 river cruise terminals in the next 5 years. River cruise tourism has witnessed a significant growth in the last decade with the number of river cruise vessels increasing from three in FY14 to 25 in FY24. It also plans to establish 10 sea cruise terminals and five marinas.
