The Competition Commission of India (CCI) ordered a probe into beauty pageant organiser Mrs India over their anti-competitive practices. A complaint by a first runner-up of the pageant alleged that Mrs India imposed restrictions on participants from participating in or associating with other beauty pageants for five years. The CCI noted that some contractual clauses appeared to be exploitative.
