Cars24 has laid off around 200 employees across product and technology departments, CEO Vikram Chopra said in an internal note to staff. Chopra added that the company would take a "more" rigorous approach for future hiring plans. The layoffs come as a result of "prematurely" building its business models without long-term clarity on the survivability of these models.
