Quanfluence, a Bengaluru-based startup, has reportedly built a quantum computer that operates at room temperature by using light instead of superconducting electrical circuits. Unlike most quantum computers, its technology does not require cooling to extremely low temperatures. Quanfluence was founded by former Texas Instruments engineers Sujoy Chakravarty, Ravi Mehta, and Biman Chattopadhyay.
