Shares of Indian two-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, Ather Energy, rose nearly 4% on Friday. The stock was trading at ₹688.35 on the NSE at around 2.50 pm, up 3.85%. This came after the company announced its plans to expand into the auto insurance business through a wholly-owned subsidiary. The proposed entity will operate as a corporate agent.
