Anthropic, the startup behind AI assistant Claude, on Monday opened its first office in India in Bengaluru. It also announced a series of partnerships across the enterprise, education and agriculture sectors. "India is the second-largest market for Claude," said Anthropic, adding that the Bengaluru office will focus on hiring local talent across a wide array of roles.
