Amazon has announced it will lay off around 16,000 corporate employees globally. As part of this latest workforce reduction, the company will cut over 500 jobs in India, The Financial Express reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The impact in India is expected to be split almost evenly between the company’s e-commerce operations and Amazon Web Services, they said.
