The Union government has supported 1,706 startups under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s TIDE 2.0 scheme, Parliament was informed on December 20. Launched in 2019, the programme follows a lifecycle-based incubation model, operates through 51 incubators nationwide, and has led to 1,672 intellectual property filings by supported startups.
